Please read these terms carefully before placing an order

Benchworks Tools (benchworks.co.za) is a South African business trading in CNC machining hardware and digital plans. These Terms & Conditions govern all use of the website and all purchases made through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
An order submitted through the website constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order (see Cancellation Policy).
Prices displayed are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. International customers purchasing digital products will be charged in ZAR; currency conversion is the responsibility of the customer’s bank or payment provider.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding.
Payment is due in full at the time of order. We accept payment methods as listed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store card details.
For South African customers, EFT payments must include your order number as a reference. Orders paid by EFT are held until payment clears.
Physical products are currently shipped within South Africa only. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Benchworks Tools is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon handover to the courier. We recommend ensuring valuable orders.
Digital products are delivered electronically via a download link sent to your registered email address immediately upon payment confirmation. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and to check your spam folder. Download links expire after 5 days; contact us if your link has expired.
Our ATC systems and CNC hardware are designed for use within specified operating parameters. The customer is solely responsible for:
Benchworks Tools accepts no liability for damage to the product, machine, tooling, or property caused by incorrect configuration, wiring errors, overspeed, overload, or operation outside stated parameters. Where customer-supplied components (controllers, drivers, VFDs, electronics) are used in conjunction with our products, Benchworks Tools cannot be held responsible for failures arising from those components.
Digital plans and documentation are provided as design references and self-build guides. The customer is responsible for verifying suitability of the design for their application, materials, and machine before manufacturing. Benchworks Tools is not liable for losses arising from errors introduced during the customer’s manufacturing process or from use of unsuitable materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Benchworks Tools’ total liability to any customer shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including lost production time, damage to other equipment, or lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
All content on benchworks.co.za — including text, images, product designs, CAD files, plans, and documentation — is the intellectual property of Benchworks Tools or its licensors. Purchasing a digital product grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files for your own personal or commercial manufacturing purposes.

We collect and process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). We collect only the information necessary to process your order and provide support. We do not sell your data to third parties. Our full Privacy Policy is available on the website.
We aim to resolve all disputes fairly and promptly. In the first instance, contact us at info@benchworks.co.za. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) or a relevant alternative dispute resolution body.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be published on the website with an effective date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
